Dr. Clancy is a lifelong resident of Toms River and a graduate of Toms River High School South. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his Master's from Rutgers University. He completed his medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers Medical School. He served his internship and residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. From 1985 to 1987he served as a Cardiology Fellow at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. Clancy has medical staff privileges at Community Medical Center in Toms River and Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has also had numerous articles published in medical journals. Dr. Clancy previously served as chairman

Dr. Cornell graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University, New Brunswick and received his Degree in Medicine from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark which is where he also completed both his internal medicine internship and residency. His subspecialty training in Cardiology was completed at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Cornell is affiliated with Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood and Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was recently appointed Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Community Medical Center. He has been elected to Fellowship
in the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology
and American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Cornell is a member of the
American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and American

Dr. Jacobs received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and his degree in Medicine from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. He also completed his internship and residency at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. Dr. Jacobs completed his cardiology fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark and is board certified in Internal Medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Jacobs is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Cardiology. He has medical staff privileges at Community
Medical Center in Toms River and Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. In addition, Dr. Jacobs is the Director of the cardiac rehabilitation program at AristaCare, Whiting. |

Dr. Sobti is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology and has held numerous academic positions including Chief Cardiology Fellow at the University of Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. He received his degree in Medicine from H.P. Medical School in Simla, India and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Moolchand Hospital and Khera Hospital in New Delhi, India. His fellowships in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiology were completed at Beth Israel Medical Center and the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. He also served as Chief Medical Resident at Harper Hospital affiliated with Wayne State Hospital in Detroit, Michigan where he was appointed clinical instructor in 1990. Dr. Sobti holds medical staff privileges at Community Medical Center in Toms River, Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood and Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and American College of Cardiology. Dr. Sobti performs a variety of interventional procedures including catheterization, angioplasty and stenting. In addition, he performs peripheral vascular interventions at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. |

Dr. Richard Chang completed his Bachelors and his Masters degrees in Chemistry at Boston University. Dr. Chang received his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2000 before going on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Chang completed his cardiology training at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed additional fellowship training in interventional cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Chang is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Chang holds medical staff privileges at Community Medical Center in Toms River, Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood and Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. Dr. Chang performs a variety of interventional procedures including catheterization, angioplasty and stenting at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. |

As a nurse practitioner, Heather works in collaboration with the physicians of Cardiology Consultants in order to enhance the quality of patient care. Nurse practitioners serve as a health care resource for patients, take medical histories, complete physical examinations and prescribe treatments based on the above evaluation. This team approach helps give the patients the best possible care. Heather graduated from Albright College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has worked as a staff nurse in critical care and the cardiac catheterization lab. Continuing her education she received her Master's of Science degree as a critical care clinical nurse specialist from Rutgers University. Heather attended Seton Hall University in completing her Post Nurse Specialist at Community Medical Center for eight years. Before coming to Cardiology Consultants, she worked in the cardiac catheterization lab as the assistant manager and clinical resource for the cardiology department. In addition to her clinical experience she has also spent time as an adjunct professor. She has taught undergraduate nursing classes for Albright College in Pennsylvania and for Bloomfield College, and a graduate nursing class for Stockton State College.
